The UWICE mapping team is searching for the country's most magnificent and awe-inspiring tree, the Cupressus corneyana or Bhutanese cypress. The cypress, or tsenden, has long been revered and holds a unique place in Bhutanese culture, but is endangered in the wild and little is known about its natural history.
